Safety Analyst (MI, Ford)
Job Title: Safety Investigation & Quality Analyst Location: Dearborn, MI 48126 (hybrid schedule) Area Code: 313 Pay Rate: $40.00-50.00/hour Shift: 1st Shift Full-time, Direct (with full benefits) Belcan is excited to offer a career opportunity as a Safety Investigation Analyst at one of our premier automotive clients in Dearborn, Michigan. This pivotal role is ideal for professionals with a robust background in engineering or data analytics who are seeking to advance their career in the automotive industry. Responsibilities:
- Safety Monitoring: Proactively monitor and analyze daily reports from customers and dealerships to identify and address potential safety concerns.
- Documentation: Skillfully prepare both technical and non-technical documentation to support all stages of the safety review and compliance process.
- Regulatory Compliance: Provide robust support in responding to government inquiries, utilizing detailed data analysis and technical insights to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
- Technical Review: Diligently review and assess Technical Service Bulletins, Special Service Messages, and Over the Air (OTA) updates. Lead the facilitation of comprehensive review sessions to ensure all updates meet safety criteria.
- Process Improvement: Actively facilitate the development and refinement of processes, procedures, and training materials, aiming to enhance safety protocols and operational efficiency.
- Educational Background: Bachelor of Science degree with experience in data analytics and reporting.
- Data Proficiency: Strong capabilities in data analysis and problem-solving with advanced Excel skills.
- Industry Experience: Prior experience with quality control or warranty data analysis in the automotive sector is highly desirable.
- Technical Knowledge: Good understanding of vehicle systems and their functional interdependencies.
- Analytical Skills: Exceptional strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities to navigate complex issues effectively.
- Process Development: Experience in developing and implementing detailed procedures is highly valued.
- Industry Specific Experience: Prior exposure to Ford"s product development or manufacturing processes is advantageous.
- Collaboration: Ability to effectively interface with diverse, cross-functional teams, including global collaborations.
- Communication: Excellent oral communication skills complemented by strong technical writing capabilities.
