Key Responsibilities

• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on industrial robotic systems.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and software malfunctions in robots.
• Program and re-program robot paths and logic for new or existing production lines.
• Install, calibrate, and commission new robotic equipment and cells.
• Optimize robot performance to improve cycle times, quality, and uptime.

• Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and programming changes.

Recommended Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Robotics, Mechatronics, Industrial Automation, or a related technical field.
• 2+ years of hands-on experience maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing industrial robots in a manufacturing setting.
• Proficiency in reading electrical schematics, mechanical blueprints, and using diagnostic tools.
• Ability to perform basic robot programming, path adjustments, and teach pendant operations.
• Strong understanding of PLC logic, HMI operation, and industrial control systems.
• Demonstrated commitment to safety protocols and best practices in an industrial environment.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with robot programming languages (e.g., Python, C++, ROS, or manufacturer-specific languages).
• Familiarity with industrial vision systems for robot guidance or quality inspection.
• Understanding of industrial network protocols (e.g., Ethernet/IP, Profinet, DeviceNet).
• Certifications from major robot manufacturers (e.g., Fanuc, Kuka, ABB, Universal Robots).
