Member Services Specialist/Teller
Dow Credit Union in Midland, MI is looking to hire a positive, engaging part-time Member Services Specialist. Are you a dedicated and customer-focused individual? As a Member Services Specialist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our members, assisting with account transactions, addressing inquiries, and ensuring positive relationships are built between our members and the credit union. Member Services Specialist
We are a fast-paced and customer-focused financial institution committed to providing exceptional service to our members. As a Member Services Specialist, you will be an integral part of our team, working with members to meet their financial needs and build strong relationships with them.
- Greets and welcomes members to the credit union in a courteous and professional manner
- Efficiently processes account cash and check transactions including but not limited to; transfers, withdrawals, deposits, loan payments, check requests, purchase of money orders, and VISA gift cards, stamps etc.
- Accurately balances daily work in required time frame
- Provides superior service and adheres to the credit union's quality service standards
- Protects the credit union member assets by identifying all members when transacting business and giving information, adhering to security practices
- Assists members with problem resolution for basic account issues
- Competent utilization of multiple systems, including but not limited to Card Wizard, Jabber and Travelex
- Conducts check negotiations and determines holds according to credit union policy and established authority
HOW TO EXCEL AS A MEMBER SERVICES SPECIALIST
- High school diploma or equivalency required
- Up to six months of experience with cash handling or customer service experience preferred
