Nurse Practitioner - MAT Prescriber
Central City Health (CCH) is committed to improving community health through integrated, patient-centered care. The Nurse Practitioner – MAT Prescriber plays a critical role in delivering evidence-based treatment for individuals with substance use disorders, including the prescribing and management of medication-assisted treatment (MAT).
Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, the NP provides comprehensive clinical care, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, and ongoing medication management.
Education & Experience:
- Master’s degree in nursing required.
- Experience with addiction medicine, specifically substance use disorders (SUD).
- Valid Michigan licensure as a Certified Nurse Practitioner required.
- Minimum two (2) years’ experience as a Nurse Practitioner experience in a public health or community mental health setting preferred.
- Experience with patients exhibiting severe and persistent mental illness preferred.
- Basic Life Support certification required; ACLS preferred.
- Must meet all Continuing Education requirements.
