We are a fast-paced Public Accounting firm located in Clinton Twp, Michigan, seeking a part-time to full-time Receptionist/Biller/Admin Assistant. This role involves providing crucial administrative support within our administrative team, handling client interactions, and assisting accountants with various office tasks. The position experiences seasonal workload fluctuations, especially during tax season, and offers cross-departmental growth opportunities. No travel is required for this role. Overtime will be required during tax season and at other times during the year for critical deadlines.
Preference will be given to candidates with public accounting experience.
Responsibilities
- Answer phone calls and greet clients professionally
- Correspond with clients via phone and email
- File physical and electronic paperwork and tax returns
- Assist accountants with administrative tasks
- Collect and process client payments
- Assemble and process completed tax returns
- Manage multiple tasks and meet time-sensitive deadlines
- Maintain high standards of customer service throughout
- Billing
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
Preferred Qualifications
- 1+ years of administrative support experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong customer service skills
- Data entry accuracy and efficiency
- Excellent communication and time management skills
- Ability to multitask and stay organized
