Systems engineer
Job Description
As a Senior Consultant, you will consult with clients on service line workflow, and guide them through interdependencies and design decision impacts. You will provide solution oversight, direction and expertise to stakeholders. You will drive client-specific solution configuration design to meet workflow requirements and make recommendations to clients. You will mitigate solution risks and issues. You will execute workflow and process improvement strategies. You will lead client meetings and events. You will drive internal team initiatives.
Responsibilities
Basic Qualifications
· At least 3-5 years total combined higher education and related work experience including:
o At least 1 year system administration and/or system engineering work experience
o At least 3-5 years higher education and/or additional work experience directly related to the duties of the job
· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or related field; or equivalent relevant work experience
· Due to the client contract that this position will be aligned to, this position requires you to be a U.S. citizen.
Preferred Qualifications
· Experience with Linux or other Unix based Operating Systems
· Experience with database systems - preferably Oracle and/or Postgres
· Experience working with DICOM, HL7, PACS/VNA etc.
· Experience with technical troubleshooting
· Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
· Experience leading and/or facilitating meetings/engagements.
Expectations
· Willing to work additional or irregular hours as needed and allowed by local regulations
· Willing to travel up to 80% as needed
· Position can be Kansas City based or Remote.
· Work in accordance with corporate and organizational security policies and procedures, understand personal role in safeguarding corporate and client assets, and take appropriate action to prevent and report any compromises of security within scope of position
· Perform other responsibilities as assigned

US: Hiring Range in USD from $25.48 to $60.63 per hour; from: $53,000 to $126,100 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.
Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle's differing products, industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.

Paid sick leave: 72 hours of paid sick leave upon date of hire. Refreshes each calendar year. Unused balance will carry over each year up to a maximum cap of 112 hours.
