Job Description

Community Development Manager

Build partnerships. Open markets. Make a real impact. Omni Fiber is hiring a Community Development Manager to help accelerate growth across Michigan. If you know how to turn relationships into results and spot opportunity before anyone else does, this is a chance to step into a visible role with real momentum.

At Omni Fiber, we're expanding high-speed fiber internet into growing communities that want better, faster, more reliable connectivity. In this role, you'll help drive that growth by building strategic partnerships with property owners, builders, HOAs, and local stakeholders who can help bring service to more homes.

Why This Role Stands Out
  • You'll help expand fiber access in high-growth communities.
  • Your work will directly influence market growth and new customer access.
  • You'll work across teams and outside the office-not behind the scenes.
  • You'll represent a service people genuinely want and need.
What You'll Own
  • Identify and win new residential growth opportunities across Michigan.
  • Build strong partnerships with MDU owners, builders, HOAs, and community leaders.
  • Negotiate access and partnership terms that drive customer growth.
  • Partner across Marketing, Finance, Operations, and market leadership to move deals forward.
  • Manage a healthy pipeline and keep opportunities moving.
  • Represent Omni Fiber at meetings, events, and community touchpoints.
  • Track market activity and surface competitive insights that matter.
What You Bring

Must-Haves

  • 5+ years in telecommunications business development, sales, or marketing.
  • Strong knowledge of broadband, cable, or fiber-based services.
  • Experience working across cross-functional teams.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Excellent organization and follow-through.
  • Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
  • Ability to travel within the territory and support occasional evening or weekend events.

Nice-to-Haves

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Experience with MDU, builder, or HOA partnerships.
  • Background in market analysis, growth planning, or financial modeling.
  • Experience representing a brand in the community.

Ready to help bring better connectivity to more communities? Let's talk.
