Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg travel position in Saginaw, MI, requiring at least 2 years of Med/Surg experience and an active Michigan RN license.

Details

• General Med/Surg unit serving a diverse patient population including oncology, observation, hospice, medical, and surgical patients
• Night shift position, 7:00 PM – 7:15 AM, 12-hour shifts
• 36 hours per week
• Every other weekend and holiday coverage required
• No on-call responsibilities
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active Michigan (MI) RN license required — must be verified Active on LARA and/or Nursys
• Current AHA BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg experience required
• Med/Surg observation experience required
• Current Med/Surg skills checklist (within the last year) required for consideration
• 2 supervisory reference forms completed within the last 2 years required for consideration

Additional Information

• Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates individualized patient care in accordance with established unit policies and procedures
• Oversees and delegates components of the patient care plan to unit staff
• Works under the supervision of the Med/Surg Nurse Manager
• Local candidates are welcome to apply — candidates within a 50-mile radius of the facility are eligible but limited to one 13-week contract
• No more than 5 days of RTO may be requested for this assignment
