**What You'll Do:**
+ Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as directed by Allied Universal.
+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
+ Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the location, including both interior and perimeter areas, to help to deter unauthorized activity and promote a secure environment.
+ Monitor and report any suspicious activity or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
+ Maintain thorough documentation of all incidents, observations, and activities during each shift.
+ Interact with visitors, employees, and/or residents in a courteous and professional manner while upholding security-related protocols.
+ Assist with access control procedures and verify identification as required by site-specific policies.
+ Remain alert and prepared to respond to emergencies or security-related situations as needed.
**Minimum Requirements:**
+ Be at least 21 years of age.
+ A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
+ An armed guard card or license is preferred.
+ Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
+ Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
+ A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
