Senior Accountant

Are you a detail-oriented accounting professional who thrives in a collaborative environment and enjoys driving financial accuracy and efficiency? We’re looking for a Senior Accountant to join our growing finance team. This role offers the opportunity to take ownership of full-cycle accounting, support audits, and partner closely with leaders across the organization to deliver insights that shape decisions.

What You’ll Do:

• Prepare and consolidate financial statements, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Manage full-cycle accounting entries, including revenue, payroll, cash, and accruals.
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts and bank statements, resolving discrepancies proactively.
• Lead year-end financial audit preparation and support external auditors.
• Partner with our NetSuite vendor to maintain and enhance our accounting system.
• Review expenses for variances or unusual activity, providing actionable recommendations.
• Collaborate with clinical and operational leaders to interpret month-end financial results.
• Support annual reporting requirements (1099s, property statements, sales/use tax, etc.).
• Mentor and guide accounts payable clerks and staff accountants.
• Recommend process improvements to strengthen internal controls and efficiency.
• Assist with annual budgeting alongside the Controller.

What We’re Looking For:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (required).
• 3–5+ years of progressive accounting experience (public accounting experience strongly preferred).
• Solid understanding of GAAP and external audit processes.
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills; Oracle NetSuite experience a plus.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
