APEX Placement and Consulting has partnered with an exciting company in Sterling Heights, MI looking to add a Quality Technician to their already amazing team. Their primary responsibility will be to perform in-process and final quality inspections, ensuring products meet all quality standards and customer requirements. Keep reading for more details!

What your day will look like:

• Perform in-process and final audits following established quality standards
• Set up visual-aid standards and provide quality instructions to machine operators
• Record inspection results and maintain accurate documentation using check logs and reports
• Identify, tag, and segregate nonconforming material through the Discrepant Material Report (DMR) system
• Communicate quality issues to supervisors and production teams promptly
• Verify and document corrective actions taken on quality issues
• Ensure packaging and labeling meet customer and company standards
• Support continuous improvement initiatives within the quality department

What we are looking for:

• High school diploma or GED required
• 1+ year of experience in quality inspection or auditing preferred (manufacturing environment a plus)
• Strong attention to detail and ability to read and interpret part specifications or visual standards
• Basic math skills for measurement, frequency checks, and data recording
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively with production teams
• Reliable, self-motivated, and committed to producing quality work
