State Licensed Pharmacy Technician
Now Hiring: State Licensed Pharmacy Technician – Onsite
Location: Madison Heights, MI (Onsite)
Pay Rate: $24.45/hour
*4 Openings Available*
We are hiring full-time Pharmacy Technicians to join a busy pharmacy team that supports long-term care and senior living patients. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and wants to grow their pharmacy career outside of a retail setting.
Schedule
Monday–Friday between 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM
*Rotating weekends required*
Job Duties
- Fill and package prescription medications
- Label prescription products accurately
- Enter prescription and patient information into the system
- Assist with inventory and remove expired medications
- Prepare medications including liquids, powders, and ointments
- Handle returned medications following company procedures
- Communicate with pharmacists, staff, and healthcare facilities
- Help train and support new pharmacy team members
- Support additional pharmacy operations as needed
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Active Pharmacy Technician License (State of Michigan)
- Previous pharmacy experience
- Basic medical terminology knowledge
- Long-term care pharmacy experience preferred
