Manufacturing Engineer – New Part Processing

We’re looking for a Manufacturing Engineer with experience in SolidWorks, ERP systems, and machining process design to join our engineering team.

What You’ll Do:

You’ll lead and support process development from the moment a new part hits the drawing board to its successful transition to production. Responsibilities include:

• Process new and legacy parts for release to production
• Create and review detailed travelers, fixture designs, and custom tooling
• Conduct 2nd engineer reviews and finalize job dispositions
• Manage and update customer-driven change requests (e.g., MQIs, ADCNs, OPMPs)
• Support PPAP documentation, creation, and submission
• Build and monitor PFMEAs and process audits through IQS
• Collaborate with operators to troubleshoot and refine processes
• Participate in first-run part integration and ensure seamless shop floor transitions
• Maintain engineering equipment and support continuous improvement initiatives
• Respond to customer needs with urgency and professionalism

• Understand CNC machining operations and how to translate customer prints into efficient, real-world production steps
