Travel Registered Nurse ICU Job

Overview
Registered Nurse – ICU travel assignment in Bay City, MI. Start date 06/29/2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay $1,859–$1,889 per week with guaranteed 36 hours per week. Shift is 7:00 PM–7:30 AM (3x12-hour nights) in a hospital ICU setting.

Responsibilities
- Collaborate with physicians to develop and implement an evidence-based plan of care aimed at returning patients to optimal health.
- Provide bedside ICU nursing care, administer and monitor medications, and execute physician orders.
- Delegate and supervise tasks for Nurse Assistants, Patient Care Associates, and other support staff; participate in discharge and transfer planning.
- Function as a team lead to ensure appropriate patient placement, delegate assignments, and mentor new employees and students.
- Assess and evaluate the effectiveness of the care plan; adjust as needed and communicate changes to the care team.
- Communicate relevant information clearly to patients, families, and the care team; maintain accurate documentation and participate in patient conferences when applicable.

Requirements
- Active Michigan RN license
- 2+ years ICU experience (required)
- BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications (required)
- Comfortable with floating to ED and Step-down units (required)
- Travel experience (preferred)
- Neuro surgical experience (preferred)
- Open heart experience (preferred)
