Roles & Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive screenings and evaluations for patients with speech, language, and swallowing disorders, then develop personalized treatment plans that improve their daily lives.
• Create and update individualized treatment and discharge plans, ensuring each patient gets the right care at the right time.
• Keep meticulous documentation to meet regulatory and facility standards, so every step of your work is recognized.
• Work hand-in-hand with an interdisciplinary care team, patients, and families to build a caring and effective therapy experience.
• Maintain strict compliance with infection control and safety protocols, making safety a top priority for everyone.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Speech-Language Pathology program (MS/MA)
• Current state SLP license and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or CFY eligibility
• Strong communication and clinical problem-solving skills
• Passion for helping patients find their voice and improve their quality of life

Education

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in speech, language, and swallowing therapy techniques
• Experienced in patient evaluation and treatment planning
• Strong documentation and discharge planning abilities
• Collaborative team player with excellent communication
• Knowledge of infection control and safety standards
• Clinical problem-solving and adaptability to meet patient needs
