Senior Financial Analyst
Kforce's client, a growing manufacturing company in the Grand Rapids area, is adding a Senior Financial Analyst to support forecasting, operational analysis, and strategic decision-making. This is a newly created, individual contributor role reporting to senior finance leadership and partnering closely with Operations, Sales, and Supply Chain. Overview: This position will play a key role in strengthening financial planning and analytics, with an emphasis on SKU-level performance, manufacturing economics, and forward-looking insights. The role is ideal for a hands-on analyst who enjoys building analysis, improving visibility, and influencing decisions in a fast-paced environment. Duties:
- Own forecasting, budgeting, and monthly outlook processes
- Build financial models by SKU, product line, customer, and channel
- Analyze manufacturing performance including yields, labor efficiency, scrap, downtime, and conversion costs
- Support pricing, margin, and customer profitability analysis
- Develop dashboards and reporting to enhance KPI visibility
- Partner cross-functionally with Operations and Commercial teams
- Support capital analysis, scenario modeling, and executive reporting
- 6 years of FP&A, manufacturing finance, or cost accounting experience
- Background in fast-paced manufacturing or commercial environments
- Advanced Excel skills; Power BI or similar tools a plus
- This role will give you direct exposure to senior leadership and operations
