General Manager – Holiday Inn Express, New Buffalo, MIAmerican Hospitality Management, Inc. American Hospitality Management, Inc. (AHM) is seeking a self-motivated, service-oriented, and results-driven General Manager to lead the Holiday Inn Express in New Buffalo, Michigan. We are looking for a passionate hospitality professional with strong integrity who thrives on creating exceptional guest experiences and developing high-performing teams. In this role, you will oversee all hotel operations, ensuring financial performance, exceptional service, and compliance with brand standards. What You’ll Do * Lead day-to-day hotel operations, with a focus on guest and associate satisfaction. * Oversee all aspects of performance including financials (P&L), guest service, quality assurance, labor, and budgeting. * Hire, train, and develop a top-performing team in a supportive, empowering culture. * Ensure compliance with brand standards and company policies. * Promote a safe and secure environment for guests and staff. * Act as the face of the hotel within the local community. * Collaborate with corporate departments including HR, Accounting, Revenue Management, Sales, and Leadership to meet company goals. Qualifications * Experience in hotel operations or prior general management experience preferred. * Degree in Hospitality or Business preferred; relevant experience and certifications also considered. * Fluent in English; additional languages a plus. * Strong communication, organizational, problem-solving, and leadership skills. * Proficient in budgeting, financial reporting, and operational metrics. * Ability to travel as needed and work nights, weekends, and holidays. * Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds and maintaining a professional appearance.
