1ST & 2ND SHIFT

Job Summary: Provide support to Tool Room by performing utility tasks.

Required Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and one to two years related experience/training, or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Excellent analytic and communication skills
• Must be able to work in a team environment
• Must have a good knowledge of the English language
• Knowledge of Customer Specific Requirements
• Knowledge of ISO 9001/IATF 16949

Essential Functions:

• Ensure continuous efficiency of production processes through performance of utility tasks, including adjusting sensors, performing electrode changes, and additional minor maintenance tasks
• Communicate with robotic weld technicians to address larger maintenance issues
• Perform any duties required for changeover
• Seek ways to reduce waste, manufacturing byproducts, and hazardous raw materials
• Seek corrective actions for maintenance issues
• Assist Maintenance Department with PM's, 5S, and other tasks as needed
• Make recommendations on any improvement that will enhance production operations, employee health and safety, process improvements, and cost effectiveness
• Monitor and maintain inventory levels of maintenance supplies
• Perform special projects and assignments at the request of the Maintenance Supervisor
• Any other duties or responsibilities assigned by the Weld Assembly Supervisor
• Abide by all Company polices including, but not limited to the following: Health and Safety, Quality and Environmental Systems, Human Resources policies, and the Martinrea Employee Handbook

Work Environment:

• 100% Plant Floor (PPE Required)
