What Your Day Looks Like

• Kickoff: Prepare molding cells, set machine parameters, and verify tooling and materials are ready.
• In-Process Excellence: Operate molding equipment, monitor cycle times, and fine-tune settings to uphold quality and throughput.
• Uptime Focus: Perform routine maintenance, troubleshoot alarms, and address mechanical or process issues promptly.
• Quality First: Inspect components for defects, confirm dimensions/specifications, and document results.
• Team Rhythm: Collaborate with production and quality teams to streamline workflows and remove bottlenecks.
• Closeout: Record production data, update logs, and leave the area clean and safe for the next run.

What You’ll Own

• Set up and operate plastic molding machines and auxiliary equipment.
• Monitor production to ensure quality and efficiency goals are met.
• Conduct preventive maintenance and basic repairs; troubleshoot process and equipment issues.
• Inspect finished products for defects and confirm compliance with specifications.
• Work cross-functionally to optimize processes and throughput.
• Accurately record production data and maintain documentation.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area.

What You Bring

• High school diploma or equivalent; a technical degree/certification in plastics technology is a plus.
• Hands-on experience as a Plastics Technician or similar manufacturing role.
• Solid understanding of plastic molding processes and related machinery.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and work instructions.
• Strong problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
• Team-oriented approach with clear, proactive communication.
