The Appeals Representative 4 IRT (Internal Review Team) + Review documents + Building cases + Inventory Management + Data Entry **Use your skills to make an impact** **Required Qualifications** + 2 or more years of Appeals experience + 1 or more years' Healthcare experience + Strong data entry skills + Intermediate experience with Microsoft Word and Excel **Preferred Qualifications** + Associate or Bachelor's Degree + Experience handling multiple projects and assignments as directed by management + Capacity to maintain confidentiality and work independently in support of the department + Experience with electronic inventory management; able to complete assigned cases in a specified time frame. + CAS, MedHOK experience strongly preferred + Previous experience processing medical claims **Required Work Schedule** This is a remote role and will provide coverage for Eastern time zone hours. + Training Virtual training will start date one and will run for the first 4-6 weeks with a schedule of Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm EST. **Work Schedule Following Training** + Following training, you must be able to work any 8-hour shift between 8am-7pm EST. Shifts will include one weekend day (Saturday or Sunday). + Overtime and holiday work may be required, however is only mandatory based on business needs. Voluntary overtime may also be available. + Appeals (G&A) has an impact to our business, and, because of the complexities of our work, there is an 18-month commitment to this department. G&A will not allow transitions outside of area prior to the end of the 18 months. + Attendance is vital for success, so no time off is allowed during training or within your first 120 days, with the exception of observed (and paid) company holidays. **Additional Information** As part of our hiring process, we will be using an exciting interviewing technology provided by HireVue, a third-party vendor. This technology provides our team of recruiters and hiring managers an enhanced method for decision-making. If participating in a pre-recorded interview, you will respond to a set of interview questions via your phone. You should anticipate this interview to take approximately 10-15 minutes. If participating in a SMS Text interview, you will be asked a series of questions to which you will be using your cell phone or computer to answer the questions provided. Expect this type of interview to last anywhere from 5-10 minutes.
