Compensation

  • Annual Salary: $72,228 – $95,296 (dependent on licensure and experience)
  • Incentive pay available
  • Salary range is grant-funded and non-negotiable

Schedule:

  • Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
  • Will develop a schedule with supervisor and work at least 4 hours each week after 5:00 PM.
  • Full-time staff must maintain 23 billable hours per week

Weekend Requirements: TBD
On-Call: None

Position Overview

We are seeking a licensed Intellectual & Developmental Disabilities (IDD) Supervisor to oversee the administrative and clinical operations of an IDD program. This role is responsible for staff supervision, program compliance, clinical oversight, and quality improvement initiatives while ensuring high-quality, person-centered services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide clinical and administrative supervision using varied supervisory methodologies
  • Provide day-to-day oversight of program staff, including onboarding, training, scheduling, evaluations, discipline, and performance management
  • Maintain at least monthly supervision with all assigned staff
  • Manage and respond to crisis situations involving staff and clients
  • Review treatment records, reports, and documentation for quality, compliance, and improvement
  • Ensure compliance with Habilitation Waiver, Children’s Waiver, and other funding source requirements
  • Oversee staff credentialing, training compliance, and continuing education
  • Conduct regular staff meetings and maintain documentation
  • Train and support staff on electronic medical record (EMR) systems
  • Monitor productivity, waiver utilization, and program outcomes using EMR data
  • Participate in Total Quality Management (TQM) initiatives and committee meetings
  • Collaborate with leadership, finance, and interdisciplinary teams to meet program and budgetary requirements
  • Serve as liaison with community partners and participate in agency committees
  • Ensure services meet or exceed standards set by accrediting bodies (e.g., JCAHO)
  • Support and model Person-Centered Planning principles
  • Complete required reports, referrals, and documentation
  • Complete a minimum of 24 hours of role-specific training annually
  • Follow a professional code of ethics
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, or Counseling
  • Active Michigan LMSW, LLP, or LPC license - Applicants without one of these licenses will not be considered.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience evaluating and treating children and adolescents
  • Minimum 1 year of experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities
  • Ability to meet CMHP and QIDP requirements within 120 days of hire
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and crisis management abilities
  • Ability to provide culturally competent, non-judgmental, person-centered care
  • Valid driver’s license with favorable driving record
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. (no sponsorship available)

Highly Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with Medicaid Waivers
  • At least 1 year of supervisory experience
  • Experience using electronic medical record systems
