Role Specifics and Benefits:
- Key responsibilities: Perform high-quality transthoracic echocardiograms (2D, Doppler, color) and assist with transesophageal echocardiography as needed, ensuring optimal imaging through patient positioning and equipment adjustment. Prepare patients, monitor comfort and safety, and maintain meticulous imaging protocols. Acquire, process, and review studies, ensuring images meet lab standards and are ready for physician interpretation. Document findings clearly, communicate essential information to the cardiology team, and participate in ongoing quality improvement initiatives. Adapt to varying protocols and equipment across sites, demonstrating flexibility and professionalism in every shift.
