**What You'll Do:**
+ Provide customer service to clients by executing security-related procedures and site-specific policies, responding to situations as needed.
+ Monitor and control access to restricted areas, verifying credentials and authorizations for entry in an aerospace and defense location.
+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and/or potential threats.
+ Maintain detailed records of observations, incidents, and actions taken during shifts.
+ Assist with emergency response activities, including communicating with Allied Universal management and/or site contacts as necessary.
+ Collaborate with Allied Universal team members and site personnel to support overall security-related operations.
**Minimum Requirements:**
+ An active Department of Defense Secret Clearance is required.
+ Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
+ A valid firearms permit is preferred.
+ Applicants who are comfortable using a computer or tablet are preferred.
+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
