Position Overview
The MRP Planning Director will oversee the Material Requirements Planning process to ensure efficient production scheduling and inventory management. This role is critical in aligning manufacturing capabilities with demand forecasts to optimize resources and reduce waste.



Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement MRP strategies to enhance production efficiency and inventory turnover.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, supply chain, and management teams to align inventory levels with production schedules.
• Utilize forecasting techniques to anticipate market demand and adjust planning processes accordingly.
• Monitor and analyze MRP data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
• Lead and mentor the planning team to ensure adherence to best practices and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Manage supplier relationships to ensure timely delivery of materials and components.
• Oversee the integration of MRP systems with other business applications, particularly in the context of Macola.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 7 years of experience in MRP planning within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and supply chain dynamics.
• Proficiency in MRP software and tools, with experience in Macola preferred.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Leadership experience in managing cross-functional teams.
• Familiarity with pneumatic systems and valves is a plus.
• Experience in machine assembly processes is desirable.
• Availability to travel occasionally.
