Salary Range: $47,000 - $72,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Perform accurate calibrations on a wide range of measurement and test equipment.
• Maintain detailed calibration records and documentation in accordance with quality standards.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose malfunctions in instruments and equipment.
• Conduct minor repairs and adjustments to bring equipment back into specification.
• Develop, review, and update calibration procedures and work instructions.
• Ensure all calibration activities comply with ISO standards and internal quality systems.
• Manage and maintain calibration schedules and equipment inventory.

Recommended Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Metrology, Electronics, Instrumentation, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of experience in a calibration laboratory or manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated proficiency in calibrating and troubleshooting a wide range of measurement and test equipment.
• Solid understanding of metrology principles, calibration standards (e.g., ISO 17025), and measurement uncertainty.
• Excellent attention to detail for meticulous record-keeping and documentation.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience utilizing CMMS or ERP systems for calibration management.
• ASQ Certified Calibration Technician (CCT) or other relevant metrology certification.
• Familiarity with programming or scripting for automated test equipment (e.g., LabVIEW, Python).
• Understanding of measurement uncertainty analysis principles.
