Assistant Manager
Assistant Director Job Description
Pay: Up to $22 an hour
Responsibilities:
- Training and developing a high performing team; overseeing and leading our high-performance team.
- Developing leaders below you through coaching and encouragement on the floor.
- Serving as an example of Second Mile Service and a guest first mindset, consistently going above and beyond for our team and our guests.
- Maintaining and improving high standards of excellence through taste, speed, cleanliness, friendliness and order accuracy.
- Responsible for maintaining strict adherence to food safety & quality procedures, including handbook policies.
- Coaching team leaders in proper procedures/people development.
- Ensuring everyone is displaying a professional attitude at all times.
- Assisting in proactively avoiding personnel issues through a positive work environment, as well as aiding in resolving personnel issues that may arise.
- Ensuring overall cleanliness, sufficient stocking, & organization of product.
- Assisting the director team in food cost, labor analysis, and guest experience, as well as other key restaurant metrics.
- Collaborating with Team Leaders and Assistant Team Leaders to implement strategies for the improvement of team member and guest experience.
- Open availability (day and night) and able to work 40-45 hours minimum per week; likely scheduled 2:00–11:00 or 6:30-3:00.
- Available for all holidays (including Black Friday weekend, Tulip Time, and December).
- Willing to work majority to all of hours in position starting off. As you learn to take on more inside the restaurant you will earn administrative time.
- Willing to be on call on days off to come in or come in earlier than scheduled shift.
- Any other tasks to support the operator, directors, and/or the restaurant.

Minimum requirements:
- Able to work 40- 45 hours minimum
- Proven track record of leading a team in a fast paced restaurant environment
- 2 years of consecutive leadership experience
- Reliable transportation
- Willingness to grow and be challenged
- Track record of excellence in responding to accountability and holding others accountable.
- Great attitude and positive energy

- Integrity
Preferred:
- 2 year degree or working towards an associate degree
- 3 years of Chick-fil-A experience
- ServSafe certified
