Your New Role

As a Service Dispatcher in Kalamazoo, MI, you’ll be the key point of contact for field technicians, managing daily schedules, dispatching jobs, and ensuring smooth communication across departments. You’ll work closely with both field teams and leadership to support job execution from start to finish.

What You’ll Do:

• Dispatch and coordinate service technicians to job sites

• Manage daily work order schedules and monitor job progress

• Review technician job write-ups for accuracy and completeness

• Serve as the communication link between techs and account managers

• Support field staff with updates, scheduling changes, and general assistance

• Build strong relationships with customers, vendors, and internal teams

• Provide coaching and feedback to field techs as needed

• Ensure compliance with company policies and safety procedures

• Report to the Operations Manager and Service Manager

• At least 3 years of experience dispatching field technicians or coordinating technician schedules in a service-based industry

• Strong multitasking, problem-solving, and organizational skills

• Clear and professional communication, both written and verbal

• Familiarity with dispatch software, phone systems, and data entry

• Knowledge of fleet management or scheduling is a plus

• Ability to stay calm and focused under pressure

• Must be able to commute reliably to Kalamazoo, MI (Portage area)
