JOB TITLE:
Part-Time Fixed Route Bus Driver
JOB PURPOSE:
A University of Wyoming Bus Driver follows a planned bus route, making scheduled stops to pick up or drop off passengers. They will answer questions about the bus routes and communicate with dispatch via two-way radio during route.
Please note:
The working hours for these positions vary between 5:30am - 11:00pm depending on your availability. Pre-employment drug screening and review of motor vehicle record history are required.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Safely operate UW Transit buses as directed, on various routes and assignments.
Perform inspections of the equipment as outlined in the department procedures and demonstrated throughout the onboarding process.
Maintain relevant paperwork and documentation as required.
Positively contribute to the team centered work environment.
Follow all University and Transportation Services Policies and Procedures.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education: High School Diploma or GED
Experience: No Experience Required.
Required education, licensure, certification, registration or other requirement:
Valid Driver's License with a motor vehicle record that is compliant with the University Vehicle Use Policy Found at:
Must be able to pass all drug and/or alcohol screening(s) required by the UW Drug and Alcohol Policy:
Ability to work as a team member in a professional team environment.
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
Ability to follow and enforce safety procedures and protocols as directed.
Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
