Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This opportunity seeks a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide essential support within a K-12 school setting located in Rochester, MI. The position involves working part-time, approximately 3-4 hours daily, throughout the school year from late August through May on a contract basis. Ideal candidates hold certifications as SLP-CCC, have experience in pediatrics, and are comfortable working within school environments, including those completing their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY).
Key Qualifications:
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Experience working with pediatric populations
- Familiarity with the school-based environment and regulations
- Eligible to complete Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) within a school setting
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with educators, families, and students
Location: Rochester, MI
Duration: August 28th through May (school year)
Schedule: Part-time, 3-4 hours daily
Responsibilities include assessing and treating speech and language disorders in students across kindergarten through 12th grade, developing individualized treatment plans, collaborating with teachers and parents to support student progress, and maintaining accurate documentation in compliance with education and healthcare standards.
