Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A K-12 Special Education Teacher opportunity is available in Ypsilanti, MI, for the uping school year on a contract basis. This position focuses on delivering individualized instruction and support to students with diverse learning needs across grades Kindergarten through 12th grade.

Key responsibilities include:

• Developing and implementing tailored IEPs (Individualized Education Programs) that align with state standards and address each students unique learning requirements
• Collaborating with general education teachers, support staff, and families to ensure student success
• Utilizing evidence-based instructional strategies to support students with mild to moderate disabilities
• Monitoring student progress and adapting interventions as needed
• Providing a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages social, emotional, and academic growth
• Maintaining clear documentation and pliance with special education regulations

Qualifications and experience sought:

• Valid Special Education teaching certification appropriate for K-12 education
• Experience working with students with a range of disabilities in a school setting
• Strong knowledge of special education laws, regulations, and best practices
• Excellent munication and collaboration skills to work with multidisciplinary teams and families
• Ability to differentiate instruction and manage classroom behavior effectively
