Onsite IT Technician

Job Description

We are looking to hire an Onsite IT Technician to support our customer in Allen Park, MI. The Onsite IT Technician provides hands-on technical support for printers and related technology in a customer environment. This role focuses on resolving routine technical issues, supporting HP solutions, and building strong relationships with onsite stakeholders while escalating more complex problems as needed.

Responsibilities

-Provide onsite support for printers and related technology within assigned customer accounts

-Independently resolve routine, in-scope technical incidents following defined procedures

-Work with team members to troubleshoot and resolve more complex technical issues

-Apply products and solutions to meet moderately complex customer needs

-Integrate technical knowledge with business understanding to deliver effective customer solutions

-Participate in customer expectation management and escalation processes when required

-Build and maintain strong working relationships with customer management

-Set and communicate clear expectations with customers based on defined service parameters

-Continuously apply and grow technical knowledge to support assigned technology areas

Skills and Requirements

-2+ years in a help desk, desktop support, or technical support role

-Great customer service skills, and comfortable supporting customers over chat, email, phone, and in person

-Experience remotely logging into devices for troubleshooting

-Experience working in a ticketing system, preferably Service Now

-Prefer experience working with IT hardware, even better if that experience is printers
