Our production teams count on confident, hands-on leadership. As the Manufacturing Cell Supervisor, you will orchestrate people, processes, and priorities to deliver reliable results—every shift, every day—while developing the next generation of operators.

  • Lead daily crew operations to achieve safe, cost-effective, and defect-free production.
  • Allocate tasks, set expectations, and verify completion at defined checkpoints.
  • Serve as the central contact for on-shift guidance and rapid decision-making.
  • Deliver floor-based coaching, training, mentoring, and timely performance feedback.
  • Translate schedules and priorities into staffing plans that meet output goals.
  • Track cycle time, scrap, downtime, and headcount needs; drive corrective actions.
  • Reinforce company policies, safety procedures, PPE requirements, and quality standards.
  • Identify hazards and ensure strict adherence to safety protocols.
  • Verify quality checks and adherence to standard work at each station.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Maintenance, Quality, and Warehouse to maintain flow.
  • Provide clear reporting to management on performance, risks, and continuous improvement ideas.
  • Run shift start-up/hand-off meetings and sustain effective communication loops.
  • Engage in CI projects, problem-solving sessions, and waste elimination efforts.
  • Scan finished items and ensure accurate, complete production documentation.
  • Maintain records for attendance, training, KPIs, quality, incidents, and corrective actions.

Qualifications

  • Leadership or senior-operator experience in a manufacturing/production setting.
  • Working knowledge of production methods, safety regulations, and quality systems.
  • Strong communicator who can motivate, coach, and build strong teams.
  • Independent decision-maker comfortable with a fast-moving environment.
  • Proven problem-solving ability and solid organizational skills.
  • High school diploma or GED; additional technical or leadership coursework preferred.
  • Willingness to work assigned shifts and overtime as needed.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), email, and web tools.

  • Lift/push/pull up to 50 lbs.
  • Stand, twist, stoop, climb, and repeat motions for 8–12 hours.
  • Frequent forward bending at the waist; reach to low levels near the floor.
  • Operate around hot molds, presses, cranes, and in tight quarters.
  • Manual dexterity for grasping and handling parts/tools.
  • Reach overhead and at/below shoulder height.
  • Use ramps/stairs routinely.
  • Hear speech/alarms with moderate ambient noise near machinery.
  • Close vision at 20 inches or less; color recognition.
  • Be physically present on the floor 60–80% of the time, with the remainder at a desk/computer.
  • Tolerate variable temperatures, including periods up to 90 degrees; work in hot and cold zones.
