We are seeking a high-performing Mobile Repair Technician to support our bakery and restaurant partners. You will be the "ER doctor" for commercial kitchens, diagnosing and repairing a wide variety of food production equipment. This role requires a unique hybrid of mechanical prowess and electrical troubleshooting to ensure our clients stay operational.
Key Responsibilities
- On-Site Diagnostics: Travel to various client locations (bakeries, restaurants, industrial kitchens) to troubleshoot failing equipment.
- Electrical Repair: Diagnose and repair complex electrical systems, including control boards, heating elements, sensors, and 3-phase power systems.
- Mechanical Overhaul: Repair and maintain mechanical components such as gearboxes, drive belts, bearings, and hydraulic systems used in mixers, dough sheeters, and ovens.
- Preventative Maintenance (PM): Execute scheduled PMs to minimize emergency downtime and extend the life of high-value machinery.
- Documentation: Maintain digital service logs, parts orders, and client communication via Service Node
You will be expected to work on a diverse range of equipment, including:
- Thermal: Deck ovens, rack ovens, proofers, and fryers.
- Processing: Industrial mixers (Hobart style), slicers, and dough processors.
- Utilities: Light plumbing and gas line connections related to equipment installs.
