Salary Range: $83,000 - $118,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and improve the IATF 16949 Quality Management System (QMS) adherence.
• Lead and participate in internal and external IATF 16949 audits, including process, product, and system audits.
• Apply IATF Core Tools (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, SPC) for new product introduction and continuous improvement.
• Drive root cause analysis and implement effective corrective and preventive actions (e.g., 8D methodology) for quality non-conformances.
• Develop, implement, and monitor process control plans and ensure process capability and stability.
• Collaborate with suppliers to ensure compliance with IATF 16949 requirements and resolve quality issues.
• Analyze quality data and metrics to identify trends, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and reduce defects.

Recommended Qualifications

• Deep understanding and practical application of IATF 16949 standard requirements.
• Proficiency in core automotive quality tools (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, SPC).
• Demonstrated experience with problem-solving methodologies (e.g., 8D, 5 Whys, Ishikawa) and root cause analysis.
• Strong comprehension of manufacturing processes and their quality implications in a production environment.
• Experience conducting internal or supplier audits against IATF 16949.

Bonus Qualifications

• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification.
• IATF 16949 Lead Auditor certification.
• Proficiency with advanced statistical software (e.g., Minitab) and Design of Experiments (DOE).
• Experience with supplier quality management and development.
