Job Summary :
We are seeking a passionate and innovative Math teacher to join our team at FlexTech High School - Shepherd who wants to do school differently. This is not a traditional teaching role.
FlexTech is a small, project-based high school built around strong relationships, real-world learning, and student independence. Our teachers act as advisors, mentors, and collaborators. They guide students through personalized, competency-based learning rather than delivering one-size-fits-all instruction.
The ideal candidate believes all students can succeed in the right environment and is excited to design meaningful, project based learning experiences that connect to the real world. This role requires flexibility, creativity, and a willingness to work closely with students in both small groups and one-on-one settings.
If you are passionate about teaching Math, showing students that Math is not just a school subject, but that it is an important part of every day life and that it is around us even when we cannot see it, and if you care deeply about building strong relationships, collaborating with a team, rethinking what high school can look like, and making learning more relevant for students, we’d love to have you join us.
