Machining Production Lead

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage daily machining operations, ensuring production targets are met.
• Supervise and mentor a team of CNC operators, providing guidance and support.
• Monitor production processes and implement improvements to enhance efficiency and quality.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment.
• Collaborate with engineering and quality assurance teams to resolve production issues.
• Maintain accurate production records and reports for management review.
• Train new employees on machining processes and best practices.
• Assist in the planning and scheduling of production activities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in machining preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in machining, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of machining processes, tools, and equipment.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in reading blueprints and technical drawings.
• Familiarity with CNC programming and operation is a plus.
