If you spot what others miss and love turning data into better outcomes, this Grand Rapids, MI role is for you. You’ll ensure our products meet exacting standards from the moment materials arrive to the instant finished goods are approved for shipment.
How You’ll Contribute- Examine incoming materials, in-process assemblies, and final products to confirm they meet internal and industry criteria.
- Use metrology tools and testing devices to validate dimensions, fit, finish, and function.
- Record findings with precision to support traceability, compliance, and reporting.
- Identify nonconforming conditions and communicate them quickly to production partners.
- Collaborate on process improvements and corrective actions that raise quality levels.
- Join planned quality audits and support ongoing continuous improvement efforts.
- Uphold safety and quality standards throughout every inspection activity.
- High school diploma or equivalent; quality certifications are advantageous.
- Experience in quality inspection, quality control, or similar manufacturing roles.
- Strong detail orientation paired with sound analytical judgment.
- Working knowledge of QC methods, standards, and best practices.
- Ability to interpret specifications, drawings, and technical documentation.
- Effective written and verbal communicator.
- Comfortable with calipers, micrometers, gauges, and related inspection tools.
- Thrives both independently and on a team in a fast-moving environment.
