Step into a day on our floor

It’s 6:30 a.m. in Troy, MI, and production kicks off. You walk the line, listen for unusual sounds, spot-check gauges, and open your CMMS to prioritize preventive work. A pump needs a seal, a conveyor motor is due for inspection, and an operator flags a PLC fault you’ll diagnose after a quick safety huddle. By 3:00 p.m., you’ve logged thorough notes, restored uptime, and teed up tomorrow’s improvements—all while keeping safety at the center.

Role purpose

As our Industrial Maintenance Mechanic, you’ll keep equipment and facilities operating safely and reliably. You’ll install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems so production never misses a beat.

Location & schedule

• Worksite: Troy, MI (On-site)
• Shift: Monday–Friday, 6:30a–3:00p

What you’ll tackle

• Execute preventive and corrective maintenance to maximize uptime.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues.
• Inspect assets, document work clearly, and close work orders on time.
• Install, align, adjust, and test machinery and replacement components.
• Apply safety, environmental, and lockout/tagout procedures without exception.
• Partner with production to sustain throughput and quality.
• Champion reliability and continuous improvement initiatives.

Minimum qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• 2+ years of maintenance experience in manufacturing, industrial, or production settings.
• Comfort reading technical manuals, schematics, and work instructions.
• Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and performing hands-on maintenance safely.
• Authorization to work in the country of employment without current sponsorship requirements.

Preferred background

• Technical degree, vocational program, or apprenticeship in maintenance, electrical, or mechanical fields.
• Familiarity with PLC troubleshooting and automated production systems.
• Industry certifications in industrial maintenance, electrical systems, or similar.
• Experience using a CMMS to plan and record work.

Compensation & benefits

• Hourly: $23.00–$26.00/hr (experience-based)
• Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, and geographic location.
• The salary for this role is $23.00-$26.00.
