Picture your day starting on the shop floor of a custom metal fabrication facility where every order is unique. You walk past laser cutters spooling up for first shift, CNC stations lighting up, and weld bays prepping for the day’s builds. You’re the person who keeps it all moving—methodically preventing downtime, tackling unexpected issues, and ensuring the building itself runs as smoothly as the machinery.

The Work You’ll Own

You’ll split your time between production machinery and the building systems that support a fast-paced, made-to-order operation producing fabricated steel components and assemblies.

Production Equipment

• Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot, and repair on: laser cutting systems, presses and forming equipment, saws, welders, and CNC machinery.
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues to restore uptime.
• Assist with installs, relocations, and equipment upgrades as production needs evolve.

Facilities and Infrastructure

• Maintain HVAC, electrical distribution, lighting, plumbing, air compressors, and general building systems.
• Conduct routine inspections to catch failures early and address safety concerns.
• Coordinate with outside service providers when specialized expertise is required.

Process and Safety

• Document work orders, maintenance activities, and parts usage with accuracy.
• Follow OSHA standards and all company safety policies at all times.
• Keep maintenance areas and the shop organized and clean.
• Support continuous improvement and uptime initiatives across the plant.

What You Bring

• 3+ years of maintenance experience in manufacturing or metal fabrication (preferred).
• Hands-on background with industrial production equipment.
• Working knowledge of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, diagrams, and schematics.
• Comfort using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic instruments.
• Basic welding or fabrication ability is a plus.
• Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs., working at heights, and performing physically demanding tasks.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training or certifications preferred.

• Occasional off-hours work may be needed to support production uptime.

Schedule

• Day shift.
• 8-hour shifts.
