The Provisioning Regional Manager is responsible for overseeing 2+ locations in Southwest / Central Michigan. This role focuses on Leading, Managing, Training and Accountability for all retail operations, customer service, store appearance and displays, and employee interactions, and by performing other functions as assigned. The Provisioning Regional Manager must understand business drivers, how to maximize profitability, and ensure visual operational standards are met consistently in all retail locations.

• Drives business results by maximizing daily sales plans, managing expenses, and improving metrics through sales floor leadership
• Continue education on using cannabis for appropriate various treatments and maintain in-depth knowledge of products and strains in the store, as well as industry-wide product knowledge
• Manage, supervise, and direct the activities of the provisioning center and team
• Ensure the provisioning center remains compliant with security, inventory, and local and state regulations
• Understand MRA rules and compliance regulations that pertain to cannabis retail
• Create, build, and maintain vendor relationships
• Responsible for inventory control and manage compliance while performing all receiving, transferring, reporting, reconciling and inventory management functions within seed-to-sale software daily
• Responsible for monitoring all transactions and cash within the dispensary, including preparing bank deposits, counting drawers and safe, making change for registers, requesting coinage for vault, and performing record keeping duties related to all cash handling
• Responsible for monitoring and using security cameras to maintain safety and security of the provisioning center
• Monitors overall sales and creates effective solutions to increase sales and profitability, including creation, implementation and evaluation of promotions, discounts, and patient benefits as well as utilizing cost-saving measures, increasing productivity and limiting discretionary spending
• Ensures all items are correctly priced in POS system and have accurate price tags displayed
• Responsible for creating employee schedule, interviewing, hiring and training new employees
• Responsible for actively listening, establishing rapport with staff and patients, resolving conflicts, and overall relationship building with staff, Management, and patients
• Planning and directing work; performance appraisals, disciplinary action, and addressing complaints
• Interfaces with Cash Transport personnel to coordinate cash transport
• Assist with audits as needed including inventory, sales, compliance

• Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual sales reviews and provide suggestions for improvement.

• Conduct performance reviews to assess training needs and build career paths within the organization.
• Manage, supervise, and direct the activities of the provisioning center and team while inspiring the staff to deliver stellar customer service, including reinforcement of a proactive and consultative selling culture.
• Oversee and ensure cash management procedures are being followed including, transacting, opening, closing, depositing, reporting, maintaining, and reconciling cash.
• Oversee and manage product inventory.
• Participate in developing, implementing, and editing SOPs as needed
• Maintain a top-notch store condition and visual merchandising standards.
• Propose innovative ideas to increase market share and profitability.
• Propose sales goals to management, works towards meeting sales goals by implementing training, motivating, mentoring, and providing feedback to the sales staff.
• Ensures the website and live menus are up to date and maintained to the brand standard.
• Ensures all technology solutions are working and functioning as designed.

Organizational Structure

The Provisioning Store Manager will report directly to the COO and will work closely with the Post-harvest Manager and all retail staff will report up to this management role

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Management experience 5+ years (preferably in retail management).
• Retail experience 5+ years.
• Cannabis-related experience 2+ years (preferably in retail).
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor's degree in business or related field (strongly preferred).
• Must be at least 21 years of age and pass a background check.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in inventory management and reconciliation.
• Prior experience with seed to sale cannabis systems and Metrc

• Ability to work weekends, holidays, overtime, and/or on a flexible schedule when needed
  • Managers will regularly work 40+ hours a week
• Must live near or relocate to within 45 miles of Constantine, MI
• Experience in Lean Manufacturing is strongly preferred

• Leaf Logix experience a plus
• Strong skills in delegation, task prioritization, and meeting deadlines.
• Skilled with Microsoft Office and Google software products and apps.
• Strong work ethic, accountability, and team mentality.
• Able to handle multiple tasks and operate with limited supervision.
• Must be a teamwork orientated, results driven leader with exceptional people skills in order to maintain a positive work culture that promotes personal and professional growth
