Salary Range: $110,000 - $159,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of manufacturing engineers and technicians.
• Oversee the planning, execution, and successful completion of engineering projects for production processes.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize manufacturing efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance product quality.
• Ensure the development and adherence to robust engineering standards, procedures, and documentation.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with production, quality, and supply chain teams to resolve technical issues and support operational goals.
• Manage the engineering department budget, resources, and capital expenditure requests.
• Identify and implement new technologies and automation solutions to improve manufacturing capabilities.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering.
• Minimum of 7 years of progressive engineering experience in a manufacturing environment, with at least 3 years in a leadership or management role.
• Proven expertise in lean manufacturing principles, Six Sigma methodologies, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Demonstrated success in managing complex engineering projects from conception to completion, including scope, budget, and timeline.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, automation technologies, and quality systems relevant to the industry.

Bonus Qualifications

• Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification.
• Experience with advanced manufacturing technologies (e.g., automation, robotics, additive manufacturing).
• Familiarity with enterprise resource planning (ERP) or manufacturing execution systems (MES).
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
• Experience in New Product Introduction (NPI) processes within a manufacturing context.
