The Role The Service Assistant works with other members of the Service team to make sure day-to-day operations run smoothly. This position supports customer experience, vehicle movement, service operations, shop support, and general service center execution while helping the team respond to a rapidly changing workload and prioritize accordingly. What You’ll Own Customer Experience Support: Provide a world-class customer experience to all Lucid clients, both internal and external, through professionalism, responsiveness, and attention to detail. Vehicle Logistics & Transportation: Support vehicle drives, including dropping off or picking up customer vehicles and/or loaners, runs to the body shop, test charging at Electrify America charge stations, and other vehicle movement needs. Transportation Coordination: Arrange Lyft rides for internal vehicle moves per request and support transportation-related coordination for the Service team. s PDI & Vehicle Handover Support: Assist with Pre-Delivery Inspection carrier preparation and vehicle handover. When needed, help with the vehicle check-in process. Technician & Shop Support: Assist technicians with basic repairs in the shop and provide support that helps service operations run efficiently. Service Operations Support: Support other duties as assigned, including moving and staging vehicles, delivering parts, washing vehicles, and assisting the Service department as needed. Safety & Readiness: Support a safe and organized workplace and complete required post-hire training, including forklift certification and Lucid-provided CPR training. What You Bring Required 18 years of age or older. Basic automotive knowledge. Willingness to obtain forklift certification post hire, demonstrating a commitment to safety and operational efficiency in the workplace. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask. Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time. Ability to work full-time, including weekends or extended hours during busy periods. Willingness to complete Lucid-provided CPR training post hire. Valid driver’s license with no suspensions within the past year. Drivers under 21 must have maintained a driver’s license for a minimum of 3 years and successfully complete Lucid training upon hire. Preferred Prior automotive, service center, dealership, or vehicle operations experience. Experience in a customer-facing or service-oriented environment. Interest in developing a career within the automotive or electric vehicle industry. Work Requirement This role requires onsite presence and active participation in daily service operations. Candidates must be able to support vehicle movement, service center activities, and flexible schedules that may include weekends or extended hours during busy periods.
