Southshore Distribution is seeking a qualified and dependable Class A Truck Driver for a full-time, day time Regional position.Our drivers will transport goods utilizing a 53’ Dry Van for our customers. This role primarily involves day trips, but occasionally may have an overnight. Drivers are expected to always operate vehicles safely. Our drivers are expected to maintain a professional, courteous and customer focused approach during all customer interactions.

Responsibilities:

• To be DOT compliant and follow all company safety procedures.
• FMCSA compliant and Drug & Alcohol Clearinghouse compliant.
• Ensure that all proper documentation is in order.
• Drive commercial motive equipment. (Class A CDL driver's license.)
• Maintain a positive, team-oriented attitude.
• Good customer relations.
• Other duties as directed.

Skills/Experience:

• Must pass drivers test.
• Must have all state and federal documents required for driving all related equipment.
• Ability to interact within a team environment.
• Two years' experience preferred but not required.
• Proven ability to operate a 26 foot straight truck.

Working Environment:

• Normal driving environment.
• Work hours may vary depending on our customers’ scheduled delivery time.
• Driver must carry a Medical Examiner’s Certificate while operating a commercial motor vehicle.

Pay:

• $27.00 per hour + DOE
