Job Title: Associate Process Engineer

Salary : $70,000 – $85,000 (based on experience)

Overview

A growing electronic manufacturing service provider is seeking an Associate Process Engineer with hands-on experience in cable harnesses and printed circuit board assembly (PCBA). This role plays a key part in process setup, documentation, and quoting for labor, material, and tooling. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, enjoys problem-solving, and takes ownership of process improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed process work instructions and related documentation.

• Support the sales team with new business quoting and process evaluations.

• Analyze technical drawings to create bills of materials (BOMs).

• Build first-piece articles for new assemblies.

• Set up, operate, and troubleshoot assembly processes and machines.

• Lead continuous improvement initiatives across production areas.

• Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure production schedules and quality standards are met.

• Support new process development and documentation for equipment and assembly stations.

Qualifications

Education:

• Degree in Electronics or Manufacturing, or a High School Diploma with relevant experience.

• IPC-610 and/or IPC-620 certification preferred.

Experience & Skills:

• Minimum 2 years of technician experience in an electronics manufacturing environment.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general computer applications.

• Highly detail-oriented with strong organizational and documentation skills.

• Experience with Zuken/Rapid Harness or similar wire harness design software is a plus.
