Job Description
 Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. 
Providing specialized speech-language pathology services within a K-12 educational setting in Detroit, MI, this contract position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students communication development throughout the academic year.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language assessments to identify students needs
 - Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to student goals
 - Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to support student progress
 - Document and report student progress in compliance with educational guidelines
 - Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to IEP development
 
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) certification/license
 - Experience working with children across K-12 grade levels
 - Strong knowledge of speech-language disorders and evidence-based intervention strategies in educational settings
 - Ability to work collaboratively within a school team
 - Effective communication and organizational skills
 
 Location: Detroit, Michigan 
 Duration: Contract, full academic year (CSY)
