As a Security Officer - Mall Patrol Driver in Grandville, MI , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Officer in a retail and mall setting, you will help to deter security-related incidents by performing regular patrols and maintaining a visible presence throughout the location. This is a driving post, requiring a valid driver's license and adherence to Allied Universal driver policy requirements. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations throughout the location in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the retail or mall location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity.
• Observe for situations that may require security-related intervention and report findings to Allied Universal management or client representatives as needed.
• Assist with access control, visitor management, and/or wayfinding for guests and tenants within the location.
• Support security-related operations and follow all instructions provided by Allied Universal leadership and client contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
