Senior Portfolio Associate, CMF
As a Senior Portfolio Associate on Stryker’s C raniomaxillofacial ( CMF) Upstream Marketing team, you will help shape the future of a high‑impact implant portfolio that directly improves patients’ lives. This role sits at the intersection of customer insight, product development, and business strategy, partnering closely with R&D, operations, regulatory, and downstream marketing teams while taking on meaningful ownership early across core upstream activities such as voice of customer, product validation labs, and pre‑commercialization planning. You will gain broad exposure to the full product lifecycle from early concept through launch, while learning from and contributing to one of the most experienced upstream marketing teams within Stryker.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Lead and execute Voice of Customer (VoC) and market intelligence initiatives, partnering with surgeons and internal stakeholders to translate unmet clinical needs into actionable insights.
- Take ownership of product validation labs, including planning, logistics, execution, and synthesis of feedback across CMF portfolios.
- Support and, over time, independently own workstreams within upstream product development projects, contributing to line extensions, hybrid programs, and innovation initiatives.
- Develop and maintain a strong understanding of CMF products, procedures, and anatomy, enabling effective collaboration with R&D teams and credible communication of market needs.
- Author and support pre‑commercialization plans, partnering closely with marketing leadership to ensure strong market readiness and launch alignment.
- Analyze competitive landscapes, industry trends, and portfolio performance to identify opportunities for differentiation and portfolio optimization.
- Prepare clear, concise analyses and presentations to communicate insights, recommendations, and project updates to cross‑functional and leadership teams.
- Collaborate closely with engineering, advanced operations, regulatory, and downstream marketing partners throughout the product lifecycle.
- Contribute to internal communications and portfolio updates, helping ensure alignment across teams and stakeholders.

- Minimum of 2 years of professional work experience (engineering, marketing, R&D, product development, or related fields)
Preferred
- Experience within medical devices, healthcare, or regulated environments
- Background in Biomedical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Marketing, or related disciplines
