• Location: Grand Blanc, MI 48439 – A welcoming Michigan community with beautiful parks, top-rated schools, and easy access to Flint healthcare jobs and amenities.
• Facility: Level 2 Trauma Center, Union Facility
• Unit: Emergency Department (ED) Float Pool
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Start Date: August 25, 2025
• Shift: 12-hour nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
• Hours per Week: 36 (option for 48 hours)
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week
• Patient Ratio: 1:5 (may vary with case load)
• Estimated Pay Range: $44-$57 per hour (estimated weekly salary: $1930-$1990)

Qualifications – Travel ER Registered Nurse

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license with the Michigan State Board of Nursing
• Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Department (ED) nursing experience
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
• Preferred: TNCC, ENPC or PALS, NIHSS, CPI certifications
• Strong clinical skills and analytical abilities in emergency care
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

ER Nurse Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, compassionate patient care in the Emergency Department and ED Observation units
• Float between ED and ED Observation as needed (float position staffed every 4 hours)
• Utilize the nursing process: assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
• Delegate, supervise, and document care and patient/family teaching
• Communicate critical patient and family information to the healthcare team
• Collaborate to address and resolve variances from patient goals
• Adapt to changing patient loads and acuity in a Level 2 Trauma Center environment
