Job Description

Join our team as a General Production Worker, where you will work on the production line for our exciting new project. You will be responsible for assembling materials, operating machines, inspecting parts, and preparing them for shipment. You will also maintain a clean and safe working environment.

Responsibilities

• Assemble materials and operate machines on the production line.
• Inspect parts after assembly and prepare them for shipment.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
• May be required to assemble components as part of the production process.

Essential Skills

• At least 6 months of recent experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
• Experience with visual inspection for defects such as scratches, paint marks, and dents.
• Demonstrated job stability with at least 8 months or longer at the past three jobs.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in mechanical or machine operating roles is a plus.

Work Environment

The work environment is undergoing improvements, with plans for a cleaner facility soon. You will work as part of a small, six-person team where collaboration is key. Work attire includes work pants, a work shirt, closed-toed shoes, safety glasses, and face protection. Shifts available are the 3rd shift from 10:30pm to 6:30am, starting on Sunday night.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of TROY, MI.

The pay range for this position is $16.85 - $16.85/hr.
