Position Summary:
: FULL TIME - SALARY POSITION The Dietary Services Manager is responsible for meeting the nutritional needs of the facility residents in a safe, resident-focused manner.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Develops menus meeting requirements for variety and rotation of menu items.
- Orders raw food and food preparation supplies.
- Supervises department staff including hiring, training, scheduling, performance appraisal.
- Participates in budget development and adheres to budget.
- Assures department compliance with food safety standards and regulatory requirements.
- Monitors resident weights and participates in resident weight committee.
- Participates in morning meeting, QAPI Committee, and care conferences.
- Completes MDS assessments in a timely, and accurate manner.
- Other duties as requested
Minimum qualifications:
- Current SERV Safe certification
- Certified Dietary Manager, or exam eligible
- 1 year experience in a SNF, Assisted Living or CCRC kitchen leadership role
